Glorious Goodwood

Leading Edge Hospitality is providing official corporate hospitality at Glorious Goodwood which in 2010 takes place between Tuesday 27th and Saturday 31st July.

Glorious Goodwood is undoubtedly the most stylish, social and sporting event of the English summer. A quintessentially English event, where champagne and strawberries are in abundance and everyone is dressed in their chicest summer fashions, it has none of the formality of a great occasion but all of the glamour. Every jockey wants to win the big races at Glorious Goodwood.

This Festival Meeting attracts the very best from the international world of horseracing, as well as the crème de la crème of English Society. The mood however, is relaxed yet stylish, with linen suits and Panama hats for the gentlemen and soft flowing dresses for the ladies. Goodwood has managed to preserve the unique blend of social occasion and sporting excellence which makes the Festival the ultimate sporting hospitality event.

The are a number of hospitality options at Glorious Goodwood:

Sussex Grandstand Boxes and Suites

All with private balconies and stunning views of the racecourse, this is the ultimate place from which to view racing in comfort. The stylish boxes are designed for 16 guests, while the suites are for parties of 32 guests, or multiples of that number

March Grandstand (Course Facing)

Offers a limited number of exclusive boxes overlooking the course itself. All have private balconies immediately opposite the winning post, giving you a superb view as the horses charge for the finish line entering the final furlong. These boxes are all designed for entertaining a party of 12 guests.

March Grandstand (Paddock Facing)

Here, a limited number of boxes, all with their own private south facing balconies, have a great view of the Parade Ring where the runners and riders gather before the start of each race. A chance to choose your favourite before the betting closes and enjoy the rhythm of racegoers come and go as they too search for their winning selections. Beyond the Parade Ring you are afforded a spectacular view across the Downs, Chichester Cathedral, the Solent and the Isle of Wight. All boxes are designed for parties of 12 guests.

Richmond Pavilions and Charlton Boxes

These private suites and boxes offer something very different, but equally spectacular. From here you will enjoy an exciting head on view of the runners and riders as they head down the home straight and past the winning post. Almost within touching distance as they make their way out onto the course or as they return to the Winners' Enclosure, hopefully to a hero's welcome. The Richmond Pavilions accommodate groups of 24 while the Charlton Boxes take 40 guests in comfort.

Charlton Hunt Restaurant

Offers panoramic views stretching from Chichester to the Isle of Wight. The extensive balcony offers an uninterrupted view of the finishing line, a must for any racing enthusiast, offering table sizes from 2 to 12.

Double Trigger Club

A wonderful base for your day at the races. With its own private terrace for drinks, the club is a short stroll away from the excitement of the Parade Ring, putting you right in the centre of the action - a must for the racing enthusiast. For parties of up to ten guests.

The are a wide range of corporate entertaining experiences at Glorious Goodwood to suit all budgets and tastes. Packages can also be tailored to specific requirements.

ENTERTAINING EXPERIENCES 

All experiences include a Richmond Enclosure badge per person, reserved car parking, coffee and pastries on arrival and race card. The opportunity to upgrade to an all inclusive champagne experience is also available on request.

THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE

New for 2010, a bespoke experience created to ensure you get the very best out of your day. Based in a private course facing March Grandstand box you will be able to entertain 12 people and enjoy all the privileges of being one of the VIP guests. This includes enhanced menus and wines, your own private viewing and wi-fi for your laptops. The Goodwood House Butler will ensure you have everything you need. Theming the box and branding opportunities are available. You will also enjoy a guided tour of the parade ring and visit to the start line with your own celebrity host and tipster. It doesn't get any better.

PRESTIGE EXPERIENCE

This experience is available in all locations. It includes a four course lunch or three course buffet and afternoon tea, fully inclusive bar service, champagne reception, wines, spirits, beer and liquors. Also two Patrons badges per booking giving access to the other summer meetings.

SPECIAL EXPERIENCE

This experience is located in the Double Trigger Club and includes a champagne and canapé reception, followed by buffet lunch at the chef's table and afternoon tea. Reserved seating in the March Grandstand is also included.
