The Open Meeting at Cheltenham

The Open is three days of the best that racing has to offer, twinning true sporting endeavour and fervent followers in the biggest and most important meeting of the first half of the Jump racing season.

Each day provides thrilling competition between many of the best horses in Europe, large and enthusiastic crowds creating a special atmosphere and even the opportunity to indulge in retail therapy in The Open shopping village.

The highlight of the meeting is the Paddy Power Gold Cup, a race that has been at the pinnacle of the Autumn racing calendar since 1960. Its rich history has seen most of the greatest trainers and jockeys victorious on at least one occasion and it always seems to produce a wonderful finish and celebration to match.

PANORAMIC RESTAURANT

Situated on the 5th level of the Main Grandstand overlooking the winning post, the premier restaurant at Cheltenham provides the most stunning views over the racecourse. Seated at your table you also can enjoy first class cuisine, excellent table service and totepool betting. The package includes:

HORESHOE PAVILION RESTAURANT (Saturday)

A firm favourite, The Horseshoe Pavilion provides something for everyone. Located in the heart of the Tented Village it is only a short walk from the parade ring, club viewing lawn and shopping village. This restaurant provides a fabulous base for the day and includes a four course luncheon. The package includes:

GOLD CUP RESTAURANT (Friday and Saturday)

The Gold Cup Restaurant offers dining in contemporary surroundings and is linked to the main grandstand by the Hall of Fame, which pays homage to some of the sights, sounds, heroes and heroines of Cheltenham's rich history. The Gold Cup Restaurant serves a ‘Chef'sTable' menu (a magnificent Grand Buffet), allowing you to make your own selection and enjoy lunch at your own pace. For Saturday there is the option of upgrading your package to include a reserved Tattersalls seat. Seat availability is extremely limited so it is advisable to book early. The package includes:

THE FESTIVAL RESTAURANT (Saturday)

The Festival Restaurant offers a traditional style four course meal with silver service. Located close to the Hall of Fame and adjacent to the Gold Cup Restaurant, this facility provides you with an excellent base for the day and easy access to the main grandstand. There is the option of upgrading your package to include a reserved Tattersalls seat. Seat Availability is limited so it is advisable to book early not to miss out. The package includes:

FINAL FENCE RESTAURANT AND BOXES

The Final Fence is at the heart of the action; easy access to the Club viewing area, Tented Village and parade ring, and offers a great view of horses jumping the last fence as each race reaches it climax. This two tier structure provides accommodation and viewing balconies with a restaurant on the upper level and boxes on the lower level. The Final Fence boxes are for a minimum of 24 persons.

ISTABRAQ RESTAURANT (Friday)

The Istabraq Restaurant, with its own private balcony overlooking the stables, is a stylish and modern facility. Located in the heart of the Centaur near the Hall of Fame, it provides easy access to the main grandstand viewing area and betting ring and is a short walk to the parade ring. The package includes:

  • Champagne reception
  • Chef's Table luncheon, including wine
  • Afternoon tea
  • Complimentary bar throughout the day (excluding Champagne)

MAIN GRANDSTAND BOX

For parties of 14 this is a superb private facility within the Main Grandstand with reserved seating overlooking the Winning Post. The package includes: 

  • Private Suite on 4th Floor of Main Grandstand, access through Hall of Fame
  • Tea, coffee & biscuits on arrival
  • Three course silver service lunch
